Shaking Headboard
We recently upgraded from a queen to a king sleep number bed. I couldn't find a bedframe that I liked so we purchased a cheap and simple frame from wayfair as a temporary solution until something better came along. Our old bed had a built in headboard and this one didn't so that needed to be bought as well. After installation I found out that the hooks that kept it attached to the wall had quite a bit of slop in them making it noisy when you moved the pillow around at night (Video 1). Video 1 The solution was to design a small wedge piece in Fusion 360 that would fill the space between the two attachment points (Photo 1). Photo 1: CAD Model I printed with Hatchbox black PETG using 10 wall thicknesses so effectively 100% infill. I printed on its side so that the layers would not catch when slipped between the metal pieces. Printing two parts took about 45 mintues.
